Parade Registration: Loyal Elementary Parking Lot
Parade floats will line up along W. Central St. and South Division St. on both sides of the street. If you’re parking on W. Central St. park facing East. If you’re parking on South Division park facing South. Parade floats will proceed off of South Division St. and will follow each other onto W. South St (Hwy 98) and then turn left onto Main St. Over sized floats will line up on W. South St (Hwy98) on the South side of the street. Starting at the intersection of South Division and W. South Street (Hwy 98). Parade completion is Madison St (block past Citizens State Bank), all entries will be directed down Division St. when done. |
Corn Festival Parade FAQ’s
How long is the parade route? The parade route is approximately 1/2 mile long. When can we get our number? Numbers will be given out at the parade check-in booth on parade day. Numbers are not given out prior to parade day. The parade check-in booth is located at the Loyal Elementary School Parking lot. Why can’t we get our number before parade day? The parade lineup changes every day, right up until step‐off time. To avoid problems and confusion, we do not allow you to get your number early. I have a large group, how do we pick up our number? We recommend setting a meeting place (a specific corner, for example) for everyone to meet. You should then send one person to pick up your number and then proceed to your assigned spot. Where do we park? Parking is available on all city streets, exception is Main Street during the parade. We suggest you come early to get a good spot. How long does the parade last? The parade is normally 1 to 1 ½ hours in duration. Where can I drop off my child? You can contact your group for their designated meeting spot. Anyone can ask for their unit number at the parade check in booth, and there will be several parade workers available to direct you to your space. |
